This manor house originally dates from the mid 17th Century and has subsequently been restored. It is surrounded by a romantic garden with ornamental ponds. Also there's a small lake with running water and ancient camellias. It is located on the outskirts of the town of Fafe, where urban life blends harmoniously within the picturesque rural scenery of the Minho. Nearby are the ancient towns of Braga and Guimarães. Furthermore there is easy access to the beautiful National Park of Peneda - Gerês, famous for its mountains, dams and reservoir - an ideal place for water sports.
