Quinta da Casa do Paço

 Casa do Paço has had this name for more than 5 centuries because it's been the home of many families connected with the Monarchy and the Church. It is believed that the house was built at the beginning of the 16th Century. The house stands within 5 ha. of land which is completely enclosed by a wall. Beyond the wall the eyes meet a panoramic view of the region. The manor house has simple but beautiful architecture typical of the region. To the left of the gateway one can see the granary. The antique stable and barn have been converted into two excellent apartments facing a view of the village.
